Every single person at The Editorial Department who worked on The Last Tiger -- from the developmental editor to the marketing expert to the acquisitions consultant -- loved it without reservation, and that's incredibly rare. I hope Mike knows what an amazing thing he accomplished.
OK. So I like cats. Big cats. The Last Tiger won me over in the first chapter, and retained my interest throughout. The true love here is more than that of mine for felines, but that of a human connection to our animal kingdom. A lesson for us all. Enjoy this big cat story
Stop and read this work no matter what the title implies. This is not about Tigers as much as it is about the struggle of mankind to find a balance in giving back to help our environment. Love this read. And will return for a read when I need that reminder about the love for our world.
Damn us if we truly kill off all our tigers - or any creature for that matter. Thank you Mike for the reminder that we need to heed our reckless consumption of our fragile animal kingdom. The last tiger shows how powerful the bond can and should be between us and our animal friends. A fresh approach in this easy to read story.
